Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone,

It is looking like it will be a good night for trick-or-treaters in Central New York tonight.  Just right for ghosts and goblins.

I joined the Etsy Success team a few weeks ago and have found some very helpful tips.  There is no posting of treasuries or favorite items from the shop above; it is a team dedicated to just being successful on Etsy.  One of the thoughts for success was having at least 100 items in your shop.  That seems like alot but it allows the search engine to have a greater selection of your items to chose from when showing search results.  I have a ways to go, but it is now a goal.  The other tip was to increase my prices.  This sounds absolutely crazy, but many people equate price with quality, so if my price is low it is assumed my quality is low.  So I have made some price changes to most of the items, we'll see if this helps with sales.

New Items in my shop

Happy Snow Day....

Afternoon Sail - SOLD!
sort of.  We had our first snow here in Central New York on Thursday.  Some areas got up to 2", where I live it was barely a dusting, but no the less snow.  I had predicted the 23rd for the first snow.

I have several new items in my shop.  I also had another sale.  It was to a friend, but it was a sale.  I didn't want to charge her, but she insisted that she help me build my business.   I am pretty proud of myself that I was only 4 days off.  She chose my Afternoon Sail bracelet.  This has been a popular one to favorite on Etsy.  I think this was a perfect selection for her.

I keep working on getting more sales in my shop.  Doing the social media thing, making treasuries, and participating in team threads.  It is alot of work and I hope in the end it is worth it.  I stay positive.  I still have some new beads to use for bracelets, so that is the next step.  I want to add a couple new things to the shop in November.

I have been hearing a lot about Pinterest, seems pretty interesting from what I saw on the website.  I requested an invitation to join.  I have no idea how long it takes to get the invitation.  I received an email from Pinterest saying I was on the wait list to join.

Heart Warming Treasury

Good Morning Everyone,
